    The Board of Selectmen will hold a continued public hearing on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at 7:05 pm virtually via Google Meet to accept public comment on the issue of allocating the local property tax levy among the four classes of real property and of personal property for Fiscal Year 2021 pursuant to MGL Chapter 40, Section 56. Upon the conclusion of this public hearing, the Board of Selectmen will determine the percentages of the local tax levy to be borne by each class of real property, as defined in General Laws Chapter 59, Section 2A and personal property for Fiscal Year 2021. At this hearing, the Board of Assessors will be present to provide all information and data relevant to the Board of Selectmen making such determination and the fiscal effect of the available options. Call into this public hearing to offer any oral comments, or email selectmen@shrewsburyma.gov by noon on 11/24 for comments or to request information.
