The Shrewsbury Trails Committee invites you to get some fun out of winter on Sunday, February 25, 2018. Drop in any time between 11 am to 2 pm, at Lake Street Park. Enjoy a Wildlife Tracking Walk with local expert Bob Moore (come at 10:15 to meet up with Bob), then later have some hot cocoa and s’mores around the fire. Bring your own snowshoes and cross-country skis, try a little snow sculpture, see how the Boy Scouts have built their own “dog” sleds to haul equipment on winter outings, and who knows what else. This event is free but the committee is accepting cash donations towards the purchase of a gas walk-behind string trimmer-mower for trails maintenance, and also supplies for blazing and marking trails and educational handouts.
