[ARCHIVED] Vacancy on the Shrewsbury Development Corporation

The Board of Selectmen is seeking a qualified individual interested in serving on the Shrewsbury Development Corporation for a five year term to expire January 31, 2022. Interested parties must have a background and knowledge in the areas of Architecture and Planning.

The Shrewsbury Development Corporation consists of seven (7) persons appointed for staggered terms.   The Corporation was established via Home Rule under Chapter 493 of the Acts of 2002.  The primary focus of the Corporation is the development of a 60 acre parcel known as Centech Park North, the former Allen Property with frontage on The Board meets 8-12 times throughout the year in addition to special meetings depending on the development initiatives under review.

Interested persons must be registered voters of the Town and are asked to submit a letter of interest and qualifications to John Lebeaux, Chairman, Board of Selectmen, 100 Maple Avenue, Shrewsbury, MA 01545 or selectmen@shrewsburyma.gov no later than 4:30 PM on Monday, January 22, 2018.
