Central Massachusetts Regional Planning Commission Survey

By 2030, an estimated 72 million adults across the United States, nearly one 1 in 5 people, will be age 65 or older (Healthy Aging Data Report, 2018). This growing population of older adults poses an opportunity for communities to rethink how residents will age, thrive, and shape the policies and practices that will allow residents to grow up and grow old in the Commonwealth; through the AARP Age-Friendly designation. Age friendly and the communities involved enable people of all ages to actively participate in community activities, engage in outdoor and public recreation, access and utilize goods and services, and have equitable access to affordable housing, transportation, and community programs. Through this survey, community members in the Central Massachusetts area will have the ability to respond to a series of questions related to age-friendly practices and programming in our communities. Your responses will inform the needs and opportunities for older adults in the region and directly impact the development of a regional action plan. We greatly appreciate your participation.

We are specifically looking for those that live in Central Massachusetts and are age 50 and older.
