[ARCHIVED] Curbside Yard Waste Collections Week of May 16, 2022

The Town will resume Yard Waste collections at the curb next week, May 16th through May 20th. 


We are asking that all residents, regardless of their normal trash day, have their materials at the curb no later than 7:00 am on Monday.  Pickups will occur throughout the entire week.  


Yard waste will be collected by Pellegrino Trucking under a special one-week contract.  This will be the final curbside collection week for the spring season.  


Residents can also take their yard waste to the Town’s Highway Garage located at 211 South Street on Saturday, May 14, 2022, from 7:30 am to 11:30 am and each weekday through June 3, 2022, from 7:30 am to 3:00 pm.  

  • Yard waste must be in the 30-gallon paper lawn & leaf bags.  NO PLASTIC BAGS

  • Branches will also be collected if:

    • They are no larger than 3" in diameter

    • Cut into 4-foot lengths

    • Securely tied into bundles

  • Drop-off of leaf/yard waste is only permitted during designated times
