[ARCHIVED] Yard Waste Collection Update_May 10, 2022

This is an important message from the Shrewsbury DPW regarding yard waste collections.  Yard Waste Collections for the weeks of May 9th through May 13th and May 16th through May 20th, 2022 have been postponed until further notice.  The contractor’s continued driver shortages mean that we have no choice but to take this action at this time.  The Town is currently exploring a number of other options to collect materials as soon as possible and will provide updates when available. Please do not put any additional yard waste materials at the curb.

Residents can drop off Yard Waste at the Town Highway Garage (211 South Street) will continue through June 3, 2022, on weekdays from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM.  The Town will also provide drop-off options during the evening, the first being Thursday, May 12, 2022, from 3:30 PM to 7:oo PM.  We will provide additional notifications when new evening drop-off dates are designated.

We apologize for the inconvenience.  Please know that the Town is actively working to develop resolutions for this matter.
