As communicated on May 2, 2022, this week’s regularly scheduled yard waste collections have been postponed until next week.  Yard waste collections will also continue the week of May 16, 2022 as scheduled.

Residents have the option to drop their yard waste off at the Town Highway Garage located at 211 South Street on weekdays from 7:30am to 3:30pm Wednesday, May 4, 2022, to Monday, May 16, 2022.

To improve this service offer, the Town has permitted leaf and yard waste drop-off from 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM on, Thursday, May 5, 2022 at the Highway Garage, 211 South Street.

  • Yard waste must be in the 30-gallon paper lawn & leaf bags.  NO PLASTIC BAGS
  • Branches will also be collected if:
    • They are no larger than 3" in diameter
    • Cut into 4-foot lengths
    • Securely tied into bundles
  • Drop-off of leaf/yard waste is only permitted during designated times
