ONE FREE NON-PAYT TRASH BAG
On December 14, 2021, the Board of Selectmen authorized the disposal of "One Non-PAY-T Trash Bag" per household for the period of December 27 through December 31, 2021.
Pay As You Throw (PAY-T) customers will be allowed to place at the curb, one (1) plastic non-PAY-T trash bag, up to 35 gallons, on your regularly scheduled collection day. There will be NO DELAY in collections surrounding the Christmas and New Years Holidays.
Additionally, Holiday trees will be picked up the week of: Jan 3rd and the week of Jan 10th. Please make sure the trees are placed at the curb on your normal collection day. Trees should be free of decorations. Metal trees and wreaths are not collected.

The Board of Selectmen has taken this action to serve as a small token of
appreciation for all the Shrewsbury residents who have made the PAY-T Program
so successful during 2021.
