[ARCHIVED] Caroling on the Common presented by Arts on the Green 12/23/2021

News from the Arts on the Green Series

The First Congregational Church of Shrewsbury (FCC) is pleased to announce the next event in its Arts On The Green series.  Caroling on the Common will take place on Thursday, December 23 at 7pm on the Town Common, 19 Church Road, Shrewsbury.

A favorite holiday tradition in Shrewsbury for over a decade, this annual community carol sing will once again feature the Worcester Brass Consort's accompaniment to both secular and religious songs of the season.  Song sheets and hot chocolate will be provided.  The event will take place regardless of the weather. In the event of extreme winter conditions, caroling will be moved to FCC's fellowship hall, with face coverings required inside the building.

This event is made possible in part by the generosity of Chiampa Funeral Home, Central One Federal Credit Union, Gaudette Insurance and the Shrewsbury Cultural Council, a local agency, which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency. FCC is an Open and Affirming Congregation of the United Church of Christ. Parking for the event will be available at Chiampa Funeral Home, FCC and the Shrewsbury Public Library.
