Due to the cold temperatures, contractor, Hydra Tech, has postponed unidirectional flushing until Thursday, 12/2. They will begin valve cleaning and exercising in Zone 12 on Tuesday, 11/30. Please follow the link below for a map of the flushing areas.
Valve cleaning and exercising will begin in Zone 12 on Tuesday November 30th, which is the last remaining area to complete the entire town. This work will prepare the necessary water valves for the unidirectional flushing program. Since the fall of 2019, unidirectional flushing has been completed in Zones 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10.
Flushing will begin around 8:00AM on Thursday, December 2nd and be finished around 4:00PM. It is difficult to estimate how the work will progress each day so the list below may be optimistic but is provided to better inform everyone in the area that may be flushed. Daily updates will be provided.

- Berkshire Road
- Amherst Road
- Whitehall Circle
- Chartwell Circle
- Arch Street
- Green Street
- Appaloosa Drive
- Shetland Way
- Thoroughbred Way
Due to the flushing, residents in the identified area as well as those in the vicinity of the project may experience brief periods of reduced pressure or discolored water. If you experience discolored water once the flushing is complete, please run the cold water in downstairs bathtub until it clears.
