Flag Placement
Flags will be placed on Veterans graves on Sunday, May 29th beginning at 8:00 am by volunteers from Shrewsbury Girl Scouts.
Flags will be placed in existing flag holders. Please notify the office by Friday at noon if you need a new flag holder. Make sure flag holders are visible at the headstone.
Memorial Day, Monday, May 29th, Gates Closed
The gates to the cemetery will be closed on Monday, May 29th until the conclusion of the Memorial Day Parade. The parade will end at Mountain View Cemetery at the Veteran’s Lot near the main entrance. Gates will reopen to traffic at approximately 11:30 am.
Foot traffic is welcome during this time, but no vehicles.
