The Water and Sewer Division has contracted with JMR Water Services to conduct leak detection on the Town's water distribution system. Work will continue over the next month as crews use specialized equipment to detect leaks throughout the system. Employees of JMR Water Services will walk, ride scooters, and drive vehicles to analyze the water distribution system and report any detected leaks. The scheduled hours for the project will vary and may include some overnight or early morning hours. This project is an important part of the Water and Sewer Division's preventive maintenance program and essential in our efforts to minimize unaccounted for water.
Employees of JMR Water Services will be clearly identifiable and at no time will they need to access the inside of your home or business.
Work will begin in the Town's "High Service Area" pressure zone and then will move into other areas. Please see the attached map for more information.
