Newton Pond (located off Sewall Street in Shrewsbury): The Public Health Advisory that was posted on July 29, 2021 has been LIFTED as of August 6, 2021.

The Worcester Division of Public Health (WDPH) and the Town of Shrewsbury’s Board of Health has LIFTED the Public Health Advisory for both Dean Park Pond and Newton Pond to close until further laboratory tests reveal acceptable and safe water quality limits.
