Dean Park Pond in Shrewsbury remains closed until further notice because laboratory testing is still showing high levels of E. Coli.

Gauch Park Pond in Shrewsbury is closed until further notice because high levels of E. Coli were detected during routine seasonal weekly water quality monitoring.

Oak Island Boat Ramp in Shrewsbury - Public Health Advisory has now been LIFTED.

The Worcester Division of Public Health (WDPH) and the Town of Shrewsbury’s Board of Health has ordered the Dean Park Pond and Gauch Park Pond closed. Both of these locations will remain closed until further laboratory tests reveal acceptable and safe water quality limits.

Town officials encourage individuals and their pets to avoid contact at both Dean Park Pond and Gauch Park Pond, including fishing, until further notice.

Dean Park Pond is located off of Main Street in Shrewsbury.

Gauch Park Pond is located at the corner of North Quinsigamond Avenue and Main Street.

Oak Island Boat Ramp is located on Route 20 (across from Edgemere Boulevard).
