[ARCHIVED] The Town Manager is seeking an individual to serve on the Commission for Disabilities

The Town Manager is seeking a qualified individual interested in serving on the Commission on Disabilities.


The Commission on Disabilities consists of five (5) persons appointed for staggered terms and is responsible for advising the community on issues associated with disabled persons.  The specific duties and required composition of the Commission is set forth in M.G.L. Ch40, Section 8J which may be viewed at https://malegislature.gov/Laws/GeneralLaws/PartI/TitleVII/Chapter40/Section8J


The Commission meets quarterly throughout the year in addition to special meetings depending on the workload of the Commission.

Interested persons must be registered voters of the Town and are asked to submit a letter of interest and qualifications to Daniel J. Morgado, Town Manager, 100 Maple Avenue, Shrewsbury, MA no later than April 6, 2017.
