[ARCHIVED] 20 Additional Positive Cases of COVID-19 in the Town of Shrewsbury

20 additional positive cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the Town of Shrewsbury since April 9, 2021 bringing the cumulative total to 2,847. 

We are urging Shrewsbury residents to consider their own responsibility to help reduce the spread of COVID-19. We are still seeing community spread occurring despite vaccination efforts. It is crucial for us to keep our guards up and remain vigilant until herd immunity is achieved.   

The most effective ways to reduce your risk in contracting the virus and preventing the spread are:

😷Wear a mask.

👏Wash your hands.

↔️Keep your distance.

🧴Clean & Disinfect frequently touched surfaces.

🏠Stay home if you are sick or a household member is sick or waiting for test results.

👨‍🔬Get tested


💉Vaccine Info:  All residents can preregister to book an appointment at a mass vaccination site at mass.gov/COVIDVaccine or dial Mass 2-1-1 for assistance. Residents age 60+ may call the Shrewsbury Senior Center at 508-841-8640 or Mass 2-1-1 for assistance. 


People who live or work or are aged in these categories can be vaccinated now (Phase 1 & 2):
