Monday, May 10, 2021 5:45 p.m. update: Hydra Tech will be continuing the unidirectional flushing program on Tuesday, May 11, 2021. They will be working in Zone 3 during the next three weeks, weather permitting. Today they were able to complete flushing on: South Quinsigamond Avenue from Route 9 to Oak Street, Roberts Street, Jordan Road, Elizabeth Street, May Street, Florence Street, Water Street, John Street, and Vinnie Way.
Hydra Tech is scheduled to work Monday through Friday, weather permitting. They will resume unidirectional flushing around 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 11, 2021. They will start on the first sequence in the list below and will progress in order as much as possible. It is difficult to estimate how the work will progress each day so this may be optimistic but is provided to better inform everyone in the area that may be flushed. Flushing is expected to be finished around 5:00 p.m.

Due to the flushing, residents in the identified area as well as those in the vicinity of the project may experience brief periods of reduced pressure or discolored water. If you experience discolored water once the flushing is complete, please run the cold water in a downstairs bathtub until it clears.
