[ARCHIVED] Shrewsbury Elevated to Red (High-Risk) Community - Municipal Buildings Closed

COVID-19

As of December 10, 2020, the Town of Shrewsbury has been designated as a Red (Higher-Risk) Community.

Effective the week of Monday December 14, 2020, Town Hall will again close to the public as a result of the COVID-19 surge. In-person appointments will be suspended. Town departments have the ability to work remotely and will do so to the greatest extent possible and will continue to work in the building on a rotating schedule. Please be advised that because of this, response times may be delayed. In-person appointments will resume when conditions allow us to do so. To reach a specific department, visit the staff directory at https://shrewsburyma.gov/Directory.aspx . More information on reopening can be found at www.shrewsburyma.gov/reopening

Additionally, we are urging residents to take precautions and do their part to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in our community.

The most effective ways to reduce your risk in contracting the virus and preventing the spread remain the same:

😷Wear a mask.

👏Wash your hands.

↔️Keep your distance.

🧴Clean & Disinfect frequently touched surfaces.

🏠Stay home if you are sick or a household member is sick or waiting for test results.

👨‍🔬Get tested.
