The Water Department will be conducting hydrant flushing starting on Monday, November 7th and ending on Wednesday, November 9th, tentatively. The areas where the flushing will be conducted directly will be Colonial Drive and associated side streets, Rawson Hill Drive through Deerfield Rd and associated side streets, as well as Gulf St, Boylston Circle and Boylston St., along with the associated side streets. Work is scheduled to be conducted daily from 8:30 A.M. – 2:30 P.M. Please refrain from water related activities such as laundry and food preparation during this time period. Residents in these direct areas and adjacent side streets may experience discolored water during and after this period of time. If you experience discoloration, please run your service line preferably from the outside faucet tapped closest to your water meter to clear your line, (usually the faucet in the front of the house), as to not allow the discolored water to enter further into the household.
