The Water Department is continuing Water Main Cleaning on North Quinsigamond Ave. On Monday, October 31st, we are expecting to work on North Quinsigamond Ave. from Audubon Dr. up to the Shrewsbury Tower Location. The entire North Quinsigamond area is extremely difficult to work in with line configuration and excess material buildup, causing flow restrictions. Many of our cleaning runs needed to be done multiple times to achieve adequate results. This process will continue on Wednesday, November 2nd and Friday, November 4th in areas to be determined at this time. The West Main St. and Old Mill Rd. sections are showing good results to this point. Discolored water may be experienced in this direct area, as well as adjacent areas during and after the work is completed.
