[ARCHIVED] Gifts for Seniors

Gifts for Seniors

The pandemic has changed how each one of us lives our lives- especially our seniors. With the coming seasons, many of us will soon be wrapped up getting ready for the holidays. The In It Together Volunteer Group wants to be sure our Shrewsbury Seniors are not forgotten.

From October 1st to December 15th, we are seeking suggested donations for Gifts for Seniors to help get them through the next few months and to let them know that they’re not alone.

All items should be new with tags and can easily be purchased at the Dollar Store. Holiday card (handmade or bought), non-skid socks, sugar free candy, diet and regular Ginger-ale, adult coloring books/ pencils, granola bars, cookies, large print crosswords, word search books, lotion, deodorant, toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, coin purse, flashlight, stuffed animal, crackers, water, blanket, mittens, combs, brushes, cereal, peanut butter, toilet paper, paper towels, tissues, spam, gift cards.

Items can be dropped off at the front (circle drive) of the Shrewsbury Senior Center located at 98 Maple Ave in the designated bins.
