[ARCHIVED] Town of Shrewsbury DPW Launches New Citizen Reporting Tool Powered by SeeClickFix

The Town of Shrewsbury Department of Public Works (DPW) has launched SeeClickFix which will allow citizens to report items through a mobile app that they would have previously had to call or email to have resolved.  This includes potholes, visibility issues, potential water main leaks and other infrastructure deficiencies.  Further, residents can request services from the DPW such as utility service re-reads, pressure checks, flushing, mark outs, abatements, consumption reports, change of owner, illegal dumping, snow removal, tree services, and PAY-T general information.

With the free SeeClickFix mobile app and web tools, Shrewsbury’s citizens will now be able to provide the Town with pictures, videos, specific descriptions, and more — valuable information needed to get the job done efficiently.  In addition, the SeeClickFix platform provides Shrewsbury officials with a centralized issue management system to track service response from creation to resolution — engaging Shrewsbury’s citizens throughout the process.

This partnership not only allows Shrewsbury’s citizens to report problems, but also to view, and comment on problems submitted by their neighbors. Citizens can even create their own “watch areas” to receive notifications about all the issues reported in their community, enabling them to follow the progress of all service requests — not just the ones they report.

SeeClickFix.com The SeeClickFix mobile app is available for download on Android and iPhone. In addition to the mobile apps, citizens can send reports to the Shrewsbury’s website at https://shrewsburyma.gov/Submit-Service-Request-Online.
