COA Expanding Transportation Opportunities

The Council on Aging is expanding our transportation opportunities to include non-medical appointments and trips to stores. Call the Senior Center at 508-841-8640 to book a ride but please note that medical appointments and work trips still take priority.

The COA is taking many safety precautions including: only taking one passenger at a time (and a PCA if necessary), cleaning the vans between each passenger, and plexiglass shields separating drivers from passengers. The vans are completely ADA accessible, and ALL VAN FARES ARE WAIVED THROUGH DECEMBER 2020.

New ride opportunities include:

  • Walmart
  • Target
  • Pharmacies (CVS and Walgreens)
  • Northborough Crossing (Wegmans, BJs, Kohls, Home Sense, TJ Maxx, PetSmart, Dick's Sporting Goods, Michaels)
  • West Meadow Plaza (Ocean State Job Lot, Dollar Tree)
  • Local Barber Shops
  • Local Hair Salons
  • Local Nail Salons
  • Post Office
  • Nursing Homes and Rehabs

The COA vans are also available to take you to and from the town hall for early voting from Monday October 19th to Friday October 23rd and Monday October 26th to Friday October 30th, 8AM to 3PM. The vans are also available to drive you to your applicable precinct on November 3rd between 8AM and 3PM.

Please call the Senior Center at 508-841-8640 to book a ride for voting.
