[ARCHIVED] Finance Committee Public Hearing

On Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at 6:30 PM, the Finance Committee will hold a public hearing on the matters contained within the warrant for the 2020 Annual Town Meeting.  It is anticipated that this hearing will also be held on a second night and continued to Thursday, July 23, 2020.  

Important Notice: Pursuant to Governor Baker’s March 12, 2020 Order Suspending Certain Provisions of the Open Meeting Law, G.L. c. 30A, §18, and the Governor’s March 15, 2020 Order imposing strict limitations on the number of people that may gather in one place, these meetings of the Shrewsbury Finance Committee will be conducted via remote participation to the greatest extent possible.  Specific information and the general guidelines for remote participation by members of the public and/or parties with a right and/or requirement to attend this meeting can be found on the town’s website, at  No in-person attendance of members of the public will be permitted, but every effort will be made to ensure that the public can adequately access the proceedings in real time, via technological means. Information on how to participate in these meetings will be provided on the agendas.

Materials can also be viewed by appointment only in the Office of the Board of Selectmen or Town Clerk. 

The public is invited to attend this hearing to offer oral comments.  The public is also encouraged to provide written testimony in advance of the public hearing if they are unable to attend and wish to comment.
