The Town Manager is currently seeking qualified individuals interested in serving on the Parks and Cemetery Commission.
The Parks and Cemetery Commission meets with the Superintendent of Public Facilities and Parks on a monthly basis to discuss budgets, policies, and capital projects. The Parks and Cemetery Commission approves the sale of lots at Mountain View Cemetery.
The Parks and Cemetery Commission typically meets on the second Tuesday of the month.
Interested parties must be registered voters of the Town and are asked to submit a letter of interest and qualifications by mail to Kevin J. Mizikar, Town Manager, 100 Maple Avenue, Shrewsbury, MA or by email to amartinez@shrewsburyma.gov no later than 4:30 pm on Tuesday, June 16, 2020.
