Please help the Water and Sewer Division by providing a water sample from your home for the Lead and Copper Testing Program. We are searching for ten (10) more residents to assist with this very special request. We need your assistance in collecting residential water samples to be tested for lead and copper. This program is being conducted in cooperation with MassDEP and in line with the extensive protocols required to ensure the Town of Shrewsbury is providing safe drinking water. We are required to collect these samples twice each year and only homes constructed between 1983-1985 qualify, so your help is greatly appreciated! You will be provided the results of your specific lead and copper tests. If you submit your sample with all of the proper paperwork by June 5, 2020, you will receive $25.00 off your next water bill.
If you are at all interested in participating, and your home was constructed between 1983 and 1985 please contact the Water & Sewer Division by phone at 508-841-8502 or email at watersewer@shrewsburyma.gov
