[ARCHIVED] Notice to Residents - Water Discoloration

Some residents may notice discoloration or sediment in their water today, Wednesday, July 6, 2016. Apparently, some buildup of sediment may have been stirred up through our West Main Street transmission line and associated lines by a switching over of pumps this morning at our Treatment Plant. With the warm weather conditions, the material will need to work its way through the system as more people continue to use the water and hydrant flushing is not advisable. Thank you for your patience and understanding. For more information, please contact the Water and Sewer Department at 508-841-8506.
