As part of our ongoing commitment to providing up to date and efficient services, the Town of Shrewsbury Building Permit portal will undergo a scheduled maintenance from Friday 7/15 through Monday 7/18. The online permit portal will be unavailable during this time. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.
During our scheduled maintenance we will be migrating all permit data and user information to our new portal. We are migrating to an entirely new application called PermitsPro from Patriot Properties. This system will have enhanced features and performance over the existing platform. Once our migration is complete the permits system will be back online. We will announce the project’s progress on our website.
One major change that we want our residents and contractors to be prepared for is that their user ID will change. In response to constructive suggestions from our community, your email address will become your login ID. SHould you forget your password, there will also be a function to reset your password yourself as needed. All existing registered users will be prompted to set up their new user ID and password on your first login. This process will not only create your new ID; it will also associate all your historical permits to your new login. This may take some time during your first login, but all subsequent transactions will be normal.
