[ARCHIVED] Important Notice from the Water & Sewer Division - Water Service Interruption on March 12, 2020

On Thursday, March 12, 2020, contractor Haluch Water Contracting, Inc., will be connecting the new water main on Main Street to the water mains on School Street and Main Circle and installing new valves at the intersection of Main Circle and Walnut Street. Water service in the surrounding area will be suspended beginning around 8:00 a.m. and will be restored by approximately 4:00 p.m. to allow this work to take place.  Streets that will not have water during this project include Main Street from East Avenue to the Northborough town line, School St and the adjoining streets, Main Circle and the adjoining streets, Walnut Street from Main Circle to Hillando Drive and the adjoining streets, Norwood Avenue, Victoria Circle, Spring Street from Main Street to Park Grove Lane and the adjoining streets, and High Street from Spring Street to approximately house #69. Please follow the link below for map area where water service will be interrupted.


Residents in the vicinity of the impacted area may also have reduced pressure or discolored water due to the interruption in water service. If you experience discolored water after service is restored, please run the cold water in an outside faucet, or downstairs bathtub until it clears.
