Water pump with text Shrewsbury Water Department and Established 1905 around pump

On Friday, 01/03/2020 at 9:15 A.M., a water main break occurred on Lake Street at the intersection of Lake Street and Arrowwood Drive. The Water Division Crew is onsite at this time working to repair the main, in which the estimated time of repair is approximately four hours. Water service will be interrupted for the duration of the repair for the residents in the affected area on Lake Street from the intersection of Nelson Point down to the intersection of Arrowwood Drive, including Nelson Point Road and Point Road. Please refer to the attached affected area map; "01-03-2020 Lake St. Water Main Break Affected Area".

Please refrain from water related activities until the repair work to the main is complete.

If you experience discolored water after service is restored, please run the cold water in an outside faucet, or downstairs bathtub, avoiding hot water use, until it clears.

We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause. If you have any questions please contact DPW at 508-841-8502.
