On December 10, 2019, the Board of Selectmen authorized a "One Free Non-PAYT Trash Bag" Program during the following dates: December 26 thru December 31.
The collection of “One Free Non- PAYT Trash Bag” starts right after the Christmas holiday to encourage the residents to dispose of non-recyclable items such as wrapping paper and Styrofoam, which could potentially contaminate our recycling streams.
Pay As You Throw (PAYT) customers will be allowed to place at the curb, one (1) up to 35 gallon plastic non-PAYT trash bag on their regular rubbish collection day.
If your normal collection falls on Wednesday, 12/25, your rubbish and opportunity for “one bag free” will be on Thursday, 12/26
If your normal collection falls on Thursday, 12/26, your rubbish and opportunity for “one bag free” will be on Friday, 12/27
If your normal collection day falls on Friday, 12/27, your rubbish and opportunity for “one bag free” will be on Saturday, 12/28
If your normal collection day falls on Monday, 12/30, your rubbish and opportunity for “one bag free” will be on Monday, 12/30
If your normal collection day falls on Tuesday 12/31, your rubbish and opportunity for “one bag free” will be on Tuesday, 12/31
