Lake Street is now OPEN!
👷♂️🚧The Lake Street closure was due to a realignment of the roadway as part of the Beal School Building Project. As the Beal Building Committee went thorough the schematic design process, a proper cost estimate was included in funds approved at town meeting and the budget submitted to the MSBA. This realignment involved physically moving the layout of the roadway and straightening it out to remove the hump in the roadway to reduce the vertical elevation.
