[ARCHIVED] Message from the Shrewsbury D.P.W. Water & Sewer Division

Water pump with text Shrewsbury Water Department and Established 1905 around pump

Water and Sewer Division crews are performing an emergency repair to the water main at the intersection of Howe Avenue and Roman Drive.

During these repairs, water service will be interrupted on a section of Howe Avenue between house #52 and #97, as well as on a section of Roman Drive between house #2 and #12. These repairs are expected to take 4-6 hours to complete.

Residents in the vicinity of this area may also have reduced pressure or discolored water due to the interruption in water service. Please reference the attached "11-25-19 Howe Ave. and Roman Dr. Affected Area Map".

If you experience discolored water after service is restored, please run the cold water from an outside faucet or downstairs bathtub, avoiding hot water use until it clears.

We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause. If you have any questions please contact the Water and Sewer Division at 508-841-8506.
