On Thursday, October 17th, 2019 from 9:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M., the Water and Sewer Division will be flushing water mains in select areas to ensure water quality. This flushing is being done to address areas in the system where the water mains end in cul-de-sacs or flushing has been completed seasonally. The flushing will take place in the following areas; Thestland Drive, Ireta Road, Deergrass Road, and Dana Road.

While the water main flushing is taking place, residents in the surrounding areas may experience brief periods of reduced pressure or discolored water. Please refer to the attached "10-17-19 Water Main Flushing Areas Map" of the streets in which are anticipated to be impacted by this flushing.

Please refrain from water-related activities such as food preparation or laundering of clothing in the affected areas during the time of the flushing, as to avoid introducing discoloring water into your residence. If discolored water is encountered after the flushing work is completed, please avoid hot water use and run your cold water from an outside faucet or first floor bathtub until the water runs clear.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. For any questions or concerns, please contact the DPW at (508)-841-8502.
