Fontane Brothers Inc. is the general contractor for the construction of the new Beal School at the site of the former Glavin Center at 214 Lake Street. As part of the proposed work, a section of Lake Street is being realigned both vertically and horizontally in order to provide safer access to the new school. To facilitate this realignment work, Lake Street must be closed adjacent to the site for approximately 3 months beginning in mid-September 2019. Click here for a detour plan. In conjunction with this work, the Town will also be replacing the water main on Lake Street from just south of the entrance to Buffalo Wild Wings to the Glavin Center entrance. This work will begin
in August 2019 and will take 2-4 weeks to complete, as is needed for the new school. This work will necessitate some lane closures during day working hours.
