EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2019

Waste Management and the Town of Shrewsbury are proud to announce a new co-collection trash & recycling program. New enhanced recycling collection services will begin July 1, 2019. Shrewsbury residents should be receiving information in the mail by the end of May 2019. Also, effective July 1, 2019, the Solid Waste Program will fall under the Department of Public Works and no longer under the Board of Health.

New Recycling Collection Program

Beginning Monday, July 1, 2019, Recycling will be picked up EVERY week. Alternating paper & cardboard on YELLOW weeks and bottles and cans on GRAY weeks.

Trash and recycling will be collected at the same time and in the same truck. Waste Management will use co-collector trucks which are able to keep trash and recyclables separated. A detailed calendar will be mailed out to residents by the end of May 2019.
