On Thursday, April 18, 2019, at 7:00 PM, the Finance Committee commenced a public hearing on the matters contained within the warrant for the Annual Town Meeting that will take place starting on May 20, 2019. The following items were reviewed and considered:
- Articles 27 - 30: Planning, Zoning, and Development
- Articles 20 - 25: Citizen Petitions
- Article 26: Gold Star Family Tax Exemption
- Articles 1, 2, 5, 6, 18, 19 and 34 - 37: Articles considered annually

Materials can also be viewed in the Office of the Board of Selectmen or Town Clerk or the Shrewsbury Public Library during normal business hours.
The public is invited to attend the next Public Hearing scheduled for April 25, 2019, at 7:00 PM where the Finance Committee will review the balance of the Town Warrant and provide its recommendations on the Articles. The public is also encouraged to offer any written or oral comments to the Finance Committee. Emails may be forwarded to financecommittee@shrewsburyma.gov.
