Hydrant Flushing will continue through the week of April 22nd to the 26th, along with Sunday April 28th, barring unforeseen conditions. On Monday, April 22nd from 8 AM to 3 PM, hydrant flushing will be conducted at the intersection of Boylston St. @ I-290 to prepare for upcoming work on the bridge replacement project and then progress throughout the entire Longfellow Rd. to Browning Rd. area and associated side streets. After completion, work will start on Prospect St. @ Boylston St. and progress northerly toward Reservoir St. 

Tuesday, April 23rd from 8 AM to 3 PM,  flushing will continue on Prospect St. on the sections not finished previously, along with Resevoir St. and associated side streets of Kemble Dr. to Bowdoin St. to Glen Gerry Rd. and Evergreen St. After completion, work will continue throughout the entire Colonial Drive area and all associated side streets.

Wednesday, April 25th from 8 AM to 3 PM, flushing is scheduled for all of Rawson Hill Drive to Barnard Rd. to Deerfield Rd. to Birch Brush Rd. and associated side streets, HIll St. and then the entire area of Mercury Drive to Neptune Drive to Fox Hill Rd. to Red Coat Rd. and all associated side streets. 

Thursday, April 25th from 8 AM to 3 PM, flushing will continue for any areas not previously completed, then into the Dartmoor Dr. to Old Colony Dr. to Keyes House Rd. and Carter Rd. areas. Work will then progress onto North St. from Prospect St. to Blackthorn Rd. and then into the Camelot Dr. area with all associated side streets.

Friday April 26th from 8 AM to 3 PM, flushing is scheduled for Spring St. from Prospect St. up to Spring St. School, Holman St. and Park St. areas.

Sunday April 28th, in order to clear areas around Beal School, Sherwood Middle School, Oak Middle School and the Montessori School, along with the UMass facility, (former Worcester Foundation), Town Hall, Senior Center and various medical and food establishment, Maple Ave. will be flushed starting at Main St. westerly to View St., starting at 5 AM. Work will then progress west to east for side streets starting at Rosedale Ave, then Oak St. from Maple Ave. to our water tank zone split, just past the Montessori School and then onward to Hutchins St. to Orchard Rd. areas, then into Crescent Street. Work will continue into Monday, April 29th from 5 AM until 3 PM. 

Depending on field conditions, this schedule may be adjusted to reflect those conditions. Hydrant Flushing may temporarily introduce discolored water into your residence during the work period. Please refrain from water related activities such as laundry and food preparation during this period of time. If you are experiencing discolored water, please run the Cold water only in a downstairs bathtub or outside faucet until clear, after the daily flushing is complete for the day.
