On Monday, April 15th, hydrant flushing will be conducted on Main St. starting at the center of Town easterly toward the intersection of South St. and continuing on South St. to the intersection of Lamplighter Drive. This work will be conducted from 5:00 A.M. through the day until 3:00 P.M. in the afternoon and if conditions allow, work will begin on Grafton St. as well on Monday. On Tuesday, April 16th work will continue on Grafton St. from the center of town southerly toward Boston Turnpike from 8 A.M. to 3 P.M., along with adjacent areas. On Wednesday, April 17th and Thursday, April 18th between 8 A.M. to 3 P.M., the areas of work will include, if not completed prior, the entire Edgewood Rd. and adjacent areas along with Lake St. from Grafton St. to Edgewood Rd., side streets off the southerly side of Main St. where work was completed earlier including all of Old Brook Rd., Francis Ave., Summer St., Raymond Ave., along with other connecting areas.

Hydrant flushing may temporarily introduce discolored water into your residence during the work period. Please refrain from water related activities such as laundry and food preparation during this period of time. If you are experiencing discolored water, please run the Cold water only in a downstairs bathtub or outside faucet until clear, after the daily flushing is complete for the day. For any questions regarding this, please refer to the Town website or contact the Water & Sewer D.P.W. Division office at 508-841-8506. Thank you in advance for you patience and understanding.
