[ARCHIVED] Notice from the Shrewsbury Water Department - Hydrant Flushing Schedule

The street schedule for hydrant flushing has changed up a bit due to existing field conditions. The schedule for this week is as follows;

Wednesday, March 27^th from 10 AM - 3 PM; Holden St., Shirley Rd., Sewall St., lower Gulf St. and lower Cypress Ave. areas.
Thursday, March 28^th and Friday March 29^th from 8 AM to 3 PM both days; Old Mill Rd., Harrington Ave., Elm St., Muzzy Ave., Minuteman Way, Bunker Hill Rd. areas and all associated side streets.

We ask that our customers please refrain from water related activities such as food preparation and laundry during these periods when work is being conducted. If discolored water is encountered, please run cold water only from a downstairs bathtub or if available, an outside faucet after flushing has been completed for the day.
