Base coarse paving is scheduled for the week of June 9th starting from Maple Avenue then westerly towards I-290.

In order to minimize disturbance to traffic and to complete the paving as quickly as possible, the work will be done at night from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM.

We apologize for any disturbance this will cause to the residents abutting Main Street.

Anyone seeking to perform any water/sewer ties along Main Street from the I-290 Ramps to Maple Avenue must notify the Shrewsbury Department of Public Works - Engineering Division of such work. In addition, such work must be off the road by July 4th.

Expect some traffic delays on Main Street from the I-290 ramps to Maple Avenue.

Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes.

Top coarse paving is anticipated to start in early September.

The estimated time of substantial completion is November 2019.
