The Water Department is presently on site in the vicinity of 22 Joseph Rd. for water main repair work that began within the last hour. Water will be off for between 4-6 hrs to approximately a dozen homes in the immediate area. This area along with adjacent areas may temporarily experience discolored water during and shortly after the repair period. If discolored water is encountered, please run your cold water only from a downstairs fixture, preferably a bathtub, and avoiding hot water use until the water runs clear. The time to clear out your water service will vary depending on the particular location. If discolored water is encountered, please refrain from water related activities, such as food preparation and laundry, until the water runs clear.
