Planning Board
The Town Manager is seeking a qualified individual interested in serving on the Planning Board for a term expiring on June 30, 2018.
The Planning Board consists of five (5) persons appointed by the Town Manager for staggered terms and is responsible for overseeing the administration of the Town’s Zoning Bylaw and Rules and Regulations Governing the Subdivision of Land, in addition to other duties as set forth in Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 41, Section 81. The Board meets monthly throughout the year in addition to special meetings depending on the workload of the Planning Board.
The Planning Board is fully supported by the professional staff of the Planning and Economic Development Department.
Interested persons must be registered voters of the Town and are asked to submit a letter of interest and qualifications to Daniel J. Morgado, Town Manager, 100 Maple Avenue no later than February 24, 2016.
