Grief and Loss Support - Group A

Are you having difficulty coping or managing your grief and loss of a loved one, pet, or other losses that leave you with unresolved grief? If you would like to meet and be able to talk openly with others who understand, this is a safe, confidential space where feelings are able to be shared and respectful conversation takes place.
Grief and loss support groups are intended to offer sharing and support for individuals dealing with various types of loss, such death of a loved one; death of a pet; loss of functions from illness or disability; loss of friends; loss of a home; loss of roles: empty nest, relationships, job, or retirement, among others.
Group (A) is for those who have participated in a Grief & Loss Support Group and wish to have continued support.
Starting October 12 - March 22 (Meets 2nd & 4th Tuesday of the month)
October: 10:30 am – 12:00 pm
November forward: 10:00 am – 11:30 am
COVID requirements for participants: Masks are required and safe social distancing measures will be maintained.

The Shrewsbury Council on Aging is providing support groups for members of the Shrewsbury senior community dealing with grief and loss. This is a general psychoeducational support group and is not intended to serve as counseling or psychotherapy. This service is provided free of charge.
