As a result of a federal Fire Prevention & Safety Grant awarded by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), the Shrewsbury Fire Department has launched a free alarm installation and home safety assessment program to improve residential fire safety to at-risk Shrewsbury residents.
Residents identified to be at-risk may include, but are not limited to, the following demographics: children, senior citizens, individuals with limited English proficiency, and individuals requiring additional assistance.
