Open Space and Recreation Plan Committee

The Board of Selectmen has establishing the Open Space & Recreation Plan Committee.

Also known as the OSRPC, the committee is to be comprised of up to eight (8) members. Individuals shall be appointed who, by reason of their current or prior background in such fields as planning, conservation, land use, economic development, engineering or other relevant experience, have special knowledge to assist in updating the Open Space and Recreation Plan (OSRP).

Please help the Town of Shrewsbury to update our Open Space and Recreation Plan (OSRP) by participating in this important survey. A state- approved updated plan is necessary to qualify for state funding for the acquisition and protection of open space and recreational facilities. This survey is being conducted to understand the needs and concerns of Shrewsbury residents regarding the Town’s open space and recreation facilities. The OSRP was last updated in 2012, and many of the action items have been completed.
