FSA Open Enrollment
ATTN: ALL BENEFIT ELIGIBLE EMPLOYEES:
This year the Flex Spending Account (FSA) Plan will coincide with the health insurance period based on a Fiscal year beginning July 1st.
The Open Enrollment period for Fiscal Year 2022 (7/1/2021 - 6/30/2022) starts on Monday, April 26th, and runs through Friday, May 7th. You must enroll each and every year; your prior plan year’s election always ends on the last day of that year (6-30-21).
The Open Enrollment deadline is May 7, 2021 at 4:30 pm. Please make sure you enroll by the deadline. Attempts to enroll at the last minute will not be honored.
Effective June 1, 2021 the Town will change the frequency of deductions for all benefits to twenty-four (24) times per year. The purpose of this change is to bring consistency to the frequency of deductions for all benefits offered and to ensure accuracy of those deductions especially for the onboarding and termination of employees. This means that there will be two pay dates during the course of each fiscal year where there will not be deductions for benefits.
Please note, this change will not affect certain employees of the school department who are paid less than 26 times per fiscal year.
