Book a Room
Group Study Rooms
The library’s four group study rooms may be booked by individuals or small groups for up to two hours at a time. Patrons may only have one active room booking in the system at a time. Before booking a room, please make sure you are familiar with the library’s Group Study Room Use Policy.
Group study rooms may be booked online here, in person at the library, or over the phone by calling 508-841-8609 x2 to reach the reference desk. Users must have a valid C/W MARS library card to book group study rooms.
The library has one large meeting room (or when divided, two small meeting rooms) available for use by public groups and associations. Use of our meeting spaces must be booked ahead of time and may be subject to a fee in accordance with the following policy (PDF). Please review the policy before submitting your request.
Booking a Meeting Room
In response to the Coronavirus (“COVID-19”), and in consideration of information from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Massachusetts Department of Public Health, and the State of Emergency issued by Governor Baker, we have decided to temporarily suspend all Shrewsbury Public Library programs -- for all age groups -- as well as the use of meeting room spaces by outside groups as of Friday March 13, 2020. As such, we are not allowing the submission of meeting room usage requests at this time.
