FY 2020 

Health Insurance Open Enrollment for permanent-benefit eligible employees working 20 or more hours per week and retirees under age 65 or not Medicare eligible will take place beginning Wednesday April 17, 2019 through Wednesday, May 1, 2019.

The Benefits Fair will be held Friday, April 26th, in the Selectmen’s Meeting Room, Town Hall, 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

If you wish to make changes to your Health Insurance that will take effect on July 1, 2019, this is your opportunity to do so. The insurance applications and any accompanying paperwork must be given to me, Wendy Ricciardi, Benefits Administrator, in the Treasurer’s Office, by no later than 4:30 on Wednesday, May 1, 2019.

If you are currently enrolled in a health plan and not making any changes, you do not need to do anything.  However, it may be a good time to review your plan to make sure it continues to meet your needs.


Please read the attached documents for more information. The first attachment includes the Open Enrollment Notice, Rates, Plan Comparison Chart, and Payroll Agreement for Fiscal Year 2020, the second attachment contains several important Legal Notices*, the third attachment is a brochure from Health Equity with information on the Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and the fourth attachment is information on a new benefit that will be offered 7-1-19 through the West Suburban Health Group, MyTeleMedicine. *Please Note: decisions made during Open Enrollment are binding for the entire fiscal year and cannot be changed until next year's Open Enrollment unless you experience a qualifying event that allows for benefit changes during the year. If this happens, you MUST notify me of such a change within 30 days of the qualifying event date. Please contact me if you have any questions about qualifying events.
