Planning and Economic Development

The Shrewsbury Planning and Economic Development Department provides guidance, coordination and advisory planning services to the Town.  Our focus is on (but not limited to) land use, planning, zoning, economic development, affordable housing, open space and land preservation.

Working with Town departments, boards, committees and community organizations, our office helps develop policies, program initiatives and recommended zoning provisions to guide the future development of our community in alignment with our Master Plan.

    Absentee Ballots for the May 1, 2018 Annual Town Election are now available at the Town Clerk's office. The deadline to apply for an absentee ballot is 12:00 Noon on Monday, April 30.
